After Medical School, Dr. Berger served as a Flight Surgeon in the Air Force for 4 years. He trained, in the Air Force, at one of the top Dermatology programs in the country, scoring in the top one-third of all Dermatology Residents in the national training exam three straight years. Dr. Berger entered private practice in June, 1990. His practice has focused on general Dermatology and surgery, with emphasis on skin cancer detection/treatment. He has treated over 10,000 skin cancers since opening his practice.Dr. Berger trained and hired NP Janet Benton in 2000. Dr. Berger and NP Benton strive to provide the highest quality dermatology care for their patients.General dermatological complaints such as acne, psoriasis, moles, warts, cysts and rashes are addressed as well. Cosmetic procedures include laser surgery for hair, facial veins, tattoos, moles, age spots, botox injections, sclerotherapy for leg veins, chemical peels, as well as facial/skin rejuvenation for sun damage reversal. All surgery is done in his office. As an adjunct to these procedures, many topical preparations enhance and continue the rejuvenation process, with an emphasis on restoring collagen depleted by time and or environmental damage.
